Today was a long day. I started my day off waking up at 8am, just half an hour before my cousin Alessia was about arrive for a photoshoot. With only four hours of sleep, I made my way to the washroom and splashed some water over my face, brushed my teeth, and tried to do something with the mess that is of my hair. I can blame only myself for sleeping so late but for the most part, I was wide awake afterwards.
Alessia arrived with bags full of clothing, shoes, and accessories. My aunt had asked me earlier this week if I could do a grand shoot with Ales because she is preparing a portfolio for a modeling and talent agency. I was super excited and was looking really forward to today (now yesterday). Started off with some light neutral makeup and put on some background dance music. We shot 6 different looks x2 because the outfits were then repeated but with a different hairstyle. So, we did 'double sets', one with curly hair, the other straight. We wrapped up around 2pm and the total came to about just under 500 images. We got a lot done early into the shoot. I would say 75% of the images were taken by 12pm which was not bad in my opinion. By the end of this, my hand was starting to cramp and so were Alessia's cheeks from all the smiling lol.
We had a blast. Went to Wendy's and I had a delectable cheeseburger ♥ mmm. We were so preoccupied with the shoot, we didn't really have a sense of time until we heard our stomachs grumbling. Time went by insanely quick!
Here is a pic of my amateur yet innovative light setting. Photographer on a serious budget, yeup-ahh *adjusts suspenders* but it gets the job done.

Usually when I do my shoots, Alessia's older sister Angela is around so, she helps me with holding the lighting. I had to improvise with the chair and later wrap it around my arm and neck and become "robotic woman". Alessia was dying. I even made my own song about "robotic woman".. can't say I remember how it went now :(
After Alessia left, I passed out on the couch and had a two hour 'nap'. Watched some episodes of Grimm then a movie which, brings me to now. Just have to upload the photos and save them onto a CD.
