Where to begin? The days have sort of just flown by. We are now in May and 13 days away from my board exam.
The last 2 weeks of April: I worked on-and-off on an order of 300 chocolate roses with my mom. They were so time consuming! All I could think of when I was helping out my mom was how much time I could have spent studying. The chocolate roses were some-what fun to make but, it was definitely a challenge because of working against time (having to keep reheating the chocolate now) and then having to wait for the chocolate to set. We made them in pink, purple, blue, and red.
On April 22/ 12: My second cousin got married. It was a fun night, I caught two roses and decided to style my hair in loose long curls/ waves. I also wore a new dress I bought from H&M. I bought it sometime last year but never got around to being able to wear it. I LOVE the tailoring.
My hair has gotten so long! When I pull the end of my hair, the longest layer almost reaches my crack haha. I'm not used to having my hair styled somewhat straighter so, it was a big surprise when I saw how long my hair had gotten. When I was getting ready, I kept scaring myself when I'd feel my hair touch my lower back, thinking something else was touching me lol. I hadn't cut my hair in 2 years because of my busy schedule with school. I really like this length though, I think it will be my new length. I had also decided to randomly wear purple lipstick lol but it turned out a little light in this picture. And I parted my hair in the center, which is something I haven't done since I was 12! My look that night was full of changes.
Here's a crappy photo of the dress. You can see the subtle tailoring on the short -off the shoulder sleeves and the gathering on the midwaist. Sorry, I just really love this dress lol.
On April 27/ 12: Got together with two of my very good friends Stephanie and Cecilia for dinner at East Side Mario's. It was really nice seeing them again. Now that school is over I am looking forward to going out more and spending more time with them.
On May 6/ 12: Went over to a family friend's house for lunch to celebrate their daughter's Communion. It was so nice and sunny, perfect day to eat outside.
Also, the 10 Minute Trainer deluxe package came in the mail and I've been doing it for the past almost week and a half. It's actually not bad. I've been following the "accelerated results" calendar of three, 10 minute workouts/ day. I really like interval training and yes in this short time of working out I can say it is effective. It goes over 10 moves, 1 move every minute. The first week following the calendar, every time I would look up at the TV, dying and out of breath, the countdown would show me there's only 3 minutes left. That gave me a boost to want to just hang on a little longer, "it's almost done".
It makes a lot more of a difference as to when I was doing turbojam, looking up at the TV screen from a 40 minute workout and seeing I still had 20 minutes left. I would just want to lifeless on the floor. The thing with me is that I love to workout, I love the feeling of it and with interval training you see the results a lot faster. But, I've spent endless hours of working out at the gym and the results take way longer compared to following this 10 minute trainer so I am a picky workout person lol. Once I complete this program, I think I'll be ready to follow the workout routines that BodyRock has to offer. Can't wait!
And now, I will leave you all with some Cachi kisses.
XOXO!
