Hello, hello. Got back from the movies about an hour ago. I went to see Beautiful Creatures and not only did this movie have phenomenal makeup, to my dark liking, I must say. But- I am also still finding it hard to stop myself from speaking and thinking with a Southern twang for no particular reason. It really is interesting to see how the mind adapts (communication wise) after watching a movie for two hours with a Southern accent. ANYWAYS back to my main point which was the makeup. I was looking into what the Head Artist Fionagh Cush used and was pretty amazed to find out they used TEMPTU! I always had a liking towards this brand and now seeing it on film just encourages me to go out and purchase this product even more, perhaps at next year's IMATS?
My family and I went over to my grandparent's because of a rescheduled dinner plan that conveniently ended up falling on the day before our "Family Day" holiday in Canada. Ate Empanadas, these small quiche appetizers, and consumed way too much pop. Renee (my younger sister) and I ended up sleeping over my cousin's (who live in another portion of the same house) and watched John Carter, which happens to be one of my all-time-favourite movies. I got hungry later in the night and regrettably ate
I ended up sleeping in my cousin Alessia's bed and OMG I had never felt what a memory foam bed and pillow feels like. Honestly, I became so amused by it and all it's awkwardness. To me, if I could describe the feeling of it... while trying to get onto the bed and position myself comfortably, was as if I was dragging myself through thick mud. And, when laying down, quicksand lol. It wasn't so bad, but it just felt really, really weird. We went to sleep around 2AM and woke up late. Had breakfast then quickly went to out and then returned, had dinner and all headed to go see the movie I just mentioned. Sad to say the book has been in my position since 2010 and I still haven't read it (don't hurt me!)
On Sunday before going over my grandparents, Renee and I spent most of the day looking for some nice black jeans which seems to be at this point impossible to find. We went to two Winners, a Wal-Mart, and Talize (a thrift store). I was lucky enough to find one pair from Guess which, I guess is better than coming home with nothing. Alas, the hunt is still on and at some point I will have to make a trip to the mall before or after my next shift at work.
I think watching Beautiful Creatures has really sparked the old me back. I'm beginning to feel a lot more like myself since I've been at an all time low and feared I had lost my muchness. I look forward to uploading more content on my Youtube in due time!
