I woke up an hour before my alarm clock this morning compared to yesterday, waking up a half hour before my alarm clock went off. It wasn't for any particularly good reason. Let's just say I had a bad dream that I will not be sharing it in my "Dreamscapes" section. I don't want to give way much but I'll leave it at I was *Dr. evil accent* murdered. I woke up only because I felt a pain in the outer side of my left ankle that stemmed from my dream. Isn't it weird when that happens? I always get that.
Anyways, to break away from my scary scary thoughts I got out of bed and dressed. Cachito (my dog) is always super excited when I get up because he knows he's going to go 'out' as he ran down the hallways and staircase with me. When I opened the screen door to the back yard, I saw a butterfly just chilling on the brick wall. While making breakfast I kept looking outside a Cach and noticed there were butterflies everywhere! Cachito was playing around with one, it was a perfect kodak moment heheh.
[I just spent 20 minutes looking through pictures of butterflies to show you what the first one looked like.. I gave up, there were too many but, it was a soft brown colour and had blue around the lower part of the hindwing? I don't even know if I'm describing this right lol I'm using a diagram to help me.]
I was suppose to write about some exciting things yesterday but I got a little carried away trying to catch up with all my subscription's videos on YouTube. At least now I have something to keep me busy typing to forget the last lingering portions of my dream that are still circling in my head. So, these things aren't very exciting but they are exciting to me. Basically, I made a new "to buy" list of things that I would like to caress next to my heart. Those things are the: Canon Rebel T3i ($799.99), Samsung Galaxy Note ($199.99), Macbook Pro ($2,199.00), Samsung NX200 ($699.99), and maybe Samsung MV800 ($279.99). Yes, in that specific order. In total, I will be spending a beautiful $4178.96 and this is all before taxes and sneaky add-on deals. Do I need these things (like my mom would ask me) mmm nope, but I want them :) And how will afford all of this, you ask. ...I haven't really gotten around to that answer yet but that does not matter! The point is that I'm just an electro girl in the electro world trying to become one with the technology great minds have given us.
If you've been a long time-reader of mine that's tagged along with me from the times of livejournal, you would know that I am the owner of a Canon EOS 50D. I've had this camera for about three years now and it is my most prized possessionAHHH MY GOD THERE'S A HUGE POTATOE BUG CRAWLING UP MY DRAPES BRB! *5 mins later* Now that I have contained myself, sorry about that, there was a huge potatoe bug. I have no idea what compelled me to look over at my drapes whilst typing but I am glad I did. It's like I have some radar, no matter where I'm at, I always find these nasty bugs in the most random places nobody else notices. Eghh, that was really gross actually, just thinking about it. I slaved for three days cleaning my room and then this bug decides it can just show up out of no where, I THINK NOT! I ended up putting it in a cup and setting it free in the backyard.
Back to the camera, I think that the 50D was a good investment for me when I was a beginner in photography. I would normally recommend the Canon Rebel when they first came out because it's was a lot more hands-on and had more presets for people who just want to own a DSLR for the sake of having fine images. However, now that Canon has gone into improving their product, it has become more than just a 'basic' DSLR camera by featuring the novelties of HD recording with a flip-out screen, an external mic jack, and a few more megapixels superior to the current camera I own. I'm not sure about the model's functions, if they've even changed, I haven't gotten around to getting my hands on one to test out but i'm sure the layout is similar to it's previous versions but may be just a little more overwhelming to someone not as savy with cameras. I also think the Samsung NX200 would be another great item to own if I ever feel that I cannot bring my 50D/ future T3i around with me. I own quite a hefty lens (18-200mm) when I bought it with the body so, it definitely does get in the way when it comes to placing the entire camera down on a table, if I were at an event or when carrying things. It also adds a lot of weight. I can really feel it when it's just hanging on my neck and I'm trying to walk and or when I'm into 1 hour of a photoshoot session. I can only hope the NX200 surpasses my expectations for the latest innovation of point-and-shoot cameras at some 23 mps and HD recording.
Yesterday I went to Mosaic to get some take-out. If you live in the Brampton area near airport and mountain ash, I highly recommend this place. The chef specializes in Mediterranean. I always get the chicken pita thing (can't remember the name) that tastes divine. I also decided to do a quick room tour for you lovelies now that my room is in order.
I know you love my quickly made bed :P
