LTMU #12 - On The Road
I had such a long weekend, it felt so great. My family and I ended up taking a road trip to Kitchener but before I go on...
It all started on Friday. My dental client decided they didn't 'feel good' and didn't end up showing for their appointment with me. They told me super last minute that they couldn't make it, like a half hour before I had to be in the clinic- and I will add that it would have been their last appointment with me.
My mom picked me up after clinic and we headed on home. Kris came over and we just spent the whole day lounging, watching the rest of the GRIMM season.
On Saturday we drove to Kitchener. After that we drove to St. Jacob's and spent the day walking around, going in and out of small shops, and admiring antiques. I probably should have brought my camera but I was so lazy. We ate dinner at this house-turned restaurant and I got this sudden urge to have macaroni and cheese. It was magical.
I was in the mood for ice cream, so on the drive to Brampton we stopped by Milton at Jay's Ice Cream and I bought a big bowl of Spider Man ice cream. Yum!
I spent most of Sunday sleeping in and watching movies and Tv shows. I started watching a new series called The River, I thought it was pretty good!
