When I got back home from school for the winter holidays, something awaited me. It stared at me propped up against my monitor, right where I left it. It tormented me to flip it around; the eye sore it was lol.
I got to organizing my online accounts here and there, made a few updates on here and it took me forever to make this... I had the hardest time finding a theme I liked.. I always do.
INTO THE ECLIPSE is the name I decided to call my photography portfolio. Over the years I had taken tons of photos -not the clicker happy sort but just mainly a lot of experimental ones. I feel looking back now, from how I had been before, I have really come into my own. I sort of dedicate this portfolio to the new me, in a photographic sense. While brainstorming the idea of this portfolio, I continually asked myself what is my focus? What themes do I want to portray? Will I remain consistent? I aim to stick with schemes of neutrals, playing with light and dark elements, and maybe adding some whimsical ambiance to the images. I really hope for the best with this project because I am not exactly sure what I am expecting from it; I am sort of on this thought and am just going with it.
Letting it consume my imaginary, letting my exposures sway to what feels right.
Staying very fluid with it... I'm just staring at the picture with the developing error {that I uploaded with intent}. I seem to find the black streams of the cracked emulsion very inspiring at the moment.
For now, I have loaded some images I took of my cousin about two years back, when I was learning how to work 35mm film.
